Halleh T. Omidi focuses her practice in all areas of family law. She is a Partner at Hogan Omidi, PC the firm who wrote the book on Colorado Family Law. The Firm publishes the Colorado Family Law Practice Series on an annual basis.
Halleh counsels clients on the various aspects of dissolution of marriage cases, including complex/high asset division, allocation of parental responsibilities, child support, maintenance, paternity, post-decree modifications, appeals, prenuptial/postnuptial agreements, and the like.
Halleh is experienced in litigation as often it is necessary for a case to be litigated. In 2013, Halleh completed the Houston Family Law Trial Institute, an elite family law trial seminar. However, when litigation is not required, she negotiates with opposing counsel/opposing parties, for an optimal outcome for her client's in highly contentious domestic matters.
Halleh was born and raised in Westminster, Colorado. Her experience and dedication to family law began even before she attended law school. She completed her undergraduate course work at the University of Colorado Boulder, graduating summa cum laude. During college, Halleh interned for the Boulder County Juvenile Court.
While in law school, she worked as a student attorney in the University of Colorado Juvenile Law Clinic representing children as a Guardian ad Litem in Dependency and Neglect cases. In addition, she also represented parents as Respondent Parent Counsel in Dependency and Neglect cases.
Halleh’s experience in advocating for the best interests of the children is helpful in parental responsibility disputes because it gave her the tools to advise her clients of the outcomes that will benefit their children the most. In recognition of her high standard of ethics and successful outcomes for her clients, Halleh holds an AVVO “Superb” rating and has been awarded the AVVO “Client’s Choice Award” for the past several years. Halleh was also given the distinction of Rising Star/Super Lawyer since 2016. Halleh has also been featured in 5280's Top Lawyers list since 2021. Halleh is a fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.
She serves the community as a committee member and mentor for “Law School Yes We Can,” as a regular volunteer for Metro Volunteer Lawyers, and as a guest instructor for a variety of courses and panels at the University of Colorado Law School. She is a graduate of the 2020 Colorado Bar Leadership Training Committee (“COBALT”). Halleh serves the Family Law Section as the Chair-Elect of the Executive Council. She has contributed to the legal community by being a regular presenter at CLEs and co-authoring the Colorado Methods of Practice Domestic Relations chapter. Halleh is also a coordinating editor for the family law section of the “Colorado Lawyer” publication
When she is not helping families navigate the legal system, Halleh enjoys practicing yoga, watersports, hiking, reading and traveling.
