Hamilton H. Gardiner

Hamilton Gardiner's connection to business started early. In 1965, his family founded a manufacturing company in Tukwila, and he watched it operate throughout his school years. From a young age, he saw firsthand that owning and running a business takes constant attention, can be stressful, and often requires tough decisions. It can also be incredibly rewarding. That experience made it natural for Hamilton to study business administration. He earned his B.A. from the University of Washington with a focus on Entrepreneurship and a minor in Political Science. During law school, he came to understand just how quickly the legal and regulatory landscape can shift for business owners, and how easily disputes can arise even when everyone starts with good intentions. Hamilton believes that clients benefit from counsel who understands both the realities of operating a business and what it takes to resolve problems in court when necessary. His goal every day is to be a trusted adviser and a value-added partner. He takes time to learn how his clients’ businesses actually work so when an issue comes up, he can recommend the best path forward based on the risks and the client’s objectives. Seeing clients succeed is what motivates Hamilton most.
