Biography

With deep roots in Riverside and more than 25 years in practice, H. William Edgar represents clients in family law cases involving divorce, child custody and visitation, and child and spousal support throughout Southern California. He graduated from Arlington High School, completed his undergraduate studies at UC Santa Barbara, and earned his Juris Doctor from Southwestern University School of Law before being admitted to the California Bar in 1998. Mr. Edgar founded the Law Offices of H. William Edgar and serves as the firm’s lead trial attorney. Since 2004, his work has been dedicated solely to family law, including complex asset and property division, intense custody disputes, and post-judgment matters such as modifications. He prioritizes practical resolutions when settlement is appropriate, but he maintains a strong courtroom practice and regularly litigates contested cases. Mr. Edgar also brings appellate experience, having argued before the California Court of Appeal. Clients value his clear communication, steady guidance, and focused advocacy during what is often a stressful and life-changing time.
