Harris Yegelwel is an attorney in the Orlando office of the Morgan & Morgan Litigation Practice Group. Mr. Yegelwel works in the Product Safety Group and concentrates his practice on Products Liability, representing individuals and families who have been severely injured due to poorly designed and defective products. He currently handles the Product Safety Group’s e-cigarette litigation. Mr. Yegelwel is a native Floridian, born in Miami, FL, the son of two attorneys. He is an honors graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he majored in political science and was actively involved in the Delta Upsilon Fraternity. He returned to Florida to follow in the footsteps of his family and attend the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where he received his Juris Doctor degree, cum laude. Mr. Yegelwel was actively involved on campus serving on the Executive Boards for the Justice Campbell Thornal Moot Court Team, and The Journal of Technology, Law, and Policy. He graduated in the top 17 percent of the class and was on the Dean’s List throughout law school. While in law school, he carved out a niche in cybersecurity and data breach. His article on cyber fiduciary liability entitled, Cybersecurity Oversight: A Cautionary Tale for Directors, was selected for publication. It is available on Westlaw 20 J. Tech. Prior to joining the Product Safety Group, where he works on product liability, wrongful death, and toxic tort cases, Mr. Harris clerked at one of Florida’s largest civil insurance defense firms working primarily on premises liability, personal injury, and automobile accidents, as well as working on a federal ADA claim, and a complex intellectual property trademark case involving major airlines. He also served as a law clerk for the Honorable John Thornton, and the Honorable Rosa Rodriguez, both in the Eleventh Judicial Circuit. In his free time, he enjoys playing tennis, working out, and cooking.
