Heather J. Oden

Heather J. Oden serves as the Executive Director of Ball Janik LLP. Ms. Oden oversees the operations for the firm, working closely to manage the day to day management of Ball Janik’s three offices. Ms. Oden is responsible for ensuring that the operations run smoothly for the firm’s attorneys and staff. Ms. Oden’s leadership skills include employee engagement and accountability, finance, management, training, benefits administration, and streamlining operations to maximize efficiencies. She oversees the firm’s information technology, marketing, business development, accounting and finance, human resources, and facilities functions.

Ms. Oden brings over fifteen years’ experience in law firm management, human resources and administration, having worked at several other prominent firms in the Portland market. Most recently, Ms. Oden was the Executive Director for the law firm Roberts Kaplan LLP, which eventually merged with Lane Powell PC. Ms. Oden is skilled at managing the daily operations of a law firm, while ensuring the strategic vision is met and pursued.
