Biography

Heather Silkstone is a compassionate attorney who always delivers a clear-headed focus to her representation of clients in difficult situations. She practices in the areas of family law, immigration, bankruptcy, and estate planning.

Ms. Silkstone grew up in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Bethel University in St. Paul, Minnesota, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with double majors in Political Science and International Relations. She attended law school at George Washington University Law School in Washington, DC, where she represented clients in the Immigration Clinic and interned at the United States Senate. She also had her scholarly work published in the George Washington International Law Review.

Ms. Silkstone lives in Norfolk with her husband and four children. Following her career as a successful, All-American track athlete in college, she still enjoys competing in local road races. Outside of the time she spends relentlessly defending the best interests of her clients, she enjoys spending time with her family and being involved with her church.
