Biography

Hector J. Carbajal II is the founder of Carbajal Law. Prior to the formation of Carbajal Law, Mr. Carbajal was the co-founder of Smith Carbajal in September of 2017. He was a partner in the law firm of Carbajal & McNutt, LLP from February of 2006 until August of 2017 and prior to forming Carbjal & McNutt LLP, Mr. Carbajal was a shareholder in the preeminent law firm of Lionel Sawyer & Collins in Las Vegas, Nevada. Mr. Carbajal started as an associate attorney at Lionel Sawyer & Collins in September of 1997.

Mr. Carbajal has a diverse practice focused on complex civil and business litigation, including product liability, commercial leasing and landlord/tenant law, health care, entertainment, commercial speech, real estate, corporate law, business torts, contract and corporate governance/shareholder disputes, and covenants not to compete.

Mr. Carbajal is a highly skilled litigator who has prosecuted and defended large and complex cases as well as smaller civil matters. His advocacy is well known both in and outside of the courtroom and he has earned the respect of his peers. Mr. Carbajal’s knowledge, understanding, and experience enables him to guide clients through all aspects of civil litigation and the judicial process in a manner focused on the specific needs of the client. Mr. Carbajal has experience in handling all aspects of litigation in the state and federal courts, at both the trial and appellate level, including case assessment, motion practice, hearings, discovery, depositions, trial, settlement conferences, mediations and appeals. His experience allows him to represent clients from the beginning to end of any civil litigation matter while focusing on obtaining the best possible result for the client.
