Experience: Representative Matters: Advised Oaktree Capital on joint venture with Trinity Investments to acquire and operate The Standard Hotel, a luxury hotel in the heart of London.; Advised Westwind Capital and Deva Capital Advisory on the corporate acquisition of a 206-unit multifamily asset in London, with acquisition finance provided by Investec.; Advised a global logistics investor on the corporate acquisition of c. one million sq. ft of pre-development logistics assets in the UK, structured as a forward purchase.; Advised a listed financial institution on its establishment of a Luxembourg incorporated majority / minority joint venture to acquire a portfolio of hotels in Europe.; Advised multinational investment bank in respect of its acquisition of office buildings in the City of London, as part of a joint venture and value-add project.; Advised a global private equity investor in respect of its 50/50 office-led development joint venture with a multinational developer, part of a scheme with an estimated GDV of c. 1.5 billion.; Advised global real estate fund on the corporate acquisition of a 50% stake in respect of an office development in Germany and the establishment of the related offshore joint venture.; Advised an international real estate investment fund on debt financed acquisition of a central London portfolio held by individual and trust sellers, together with the subsequent corporate restructuring and hive up of the underlying assets by way of a series of solvent liquidations.; Advised US private equity fund in respect of its corporate acquisition of high-end retail assets in the west end of London.; Advised national developer in respect of a majority/minority joint venture renewal project, representing an aggregate investment of 1.7 billion.; The above representations were handled by Mr. Taylor prior to his joining Greenberg Traurig, LLP.
