Biography

Herbert N. Steinberg has been practicing law for forty-five years specializing in all areas of family law including, but not limited to, divorce, child support, custody and orders of protection. This area encompasses approximately 40% of the practice. Another 40% of the practice is all aspects of Bankruptcy including Chapter 7 and Chapter 13. The firm represents both debtors and creditors. Mr. Steinberg has handled in excess of 1,500 Bankruptcies. A no-charge consultation is available.

Mr. Steinberg is a former Chairman of the Queens County Bar Association Bankruptcy Committee.

Mr. Steinberg was admitted to the practice of law in 1981. He is admitted to the Bar of the State of New York, the Federal Court for the Eastern District of New York and the Southern District of New York. In addition, he is admitted to the Supreme Court of the United States.

Mr. Steinberg is a former arbitrator in the Civil Court, County of Queens.
