Hillel Goldman concentrates his practice in the practice areas of business law, commercial real estate and financing. His work with businesses includes working as general counsel for clients, buying and selling of businesses from small transactions to larger merger and acquisition deals.
Mr. Goldman currently serves as Co-Vice Chairman of the Connecticut Bar Association’s Business Section Executive Committee. He was a member of the LLC committee that drafted the new CT Uniform Limited Liability Company Act and served as the legislative liaison for the CBA working to pass this bill. He has testified on business law issues before the Connecticut Legislature and formed the first Benefit Corporation in Connecticut.
Mr. Goldman works closely with SCORE, the Small Business Development Center and the Danbury Innovation Center. He has been a presenter to lawyers and business people on business law topics at state-wide and local business law seminars.
Mr. Goldman is also active in the Community. He was a Co-Founder of the Women Center’s Men Against Domestic and Sexual Violence group, a former board member of the Regional Hospice Board and the Danbury Hospital Board among his other community work. His community service work was recognized by the Danbury Bar Association 2016 Pro Bono Award and the Danbury Jaycees 1994 Distinguished Service Award.
