Biography

Max L. Rosenberg, the Managing Partner at Rosenberg & Hite, LLC, works to assist consumers in financial distress and those being harassed by collection agencies. He represents clients in all phases of Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy proceedings. Beyond his concentration in bankruptcy, he also focuses his practice in assisting injured parties in Personal Injury matters and has extensive experience with probate law, contract law, consumer protection, criminal, family, real estate, and employment law.

While practicing in New York, Attorney Rosenberg mediated disputes at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and enjoyed arguing in every Borough in New York City including Staten Island, Riverside and Long Island. Attorney Rosenberg was also an instructor at the John Jay College School of Criminal Justice. Attorney Rosenberg earned his Masters Degrees in Sociology and Religion from Columbia University and Union Theological Seminary focusing his studies on Liturgiology. He is a graduate from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. Max returned home to Connecticut in 2005 and opened his own firm in 2007.

Max occasionally lectures at the Connecticut Bar Association on Bankruptcy and has been published in the Connecticut Attorney Magazine on the topic. He taught classes on various issues in real estate at the Greater Bridgeport Board of Realtors. He is currently chief corporate counsel for a number of home-owner associations and churches, the Bridgeport WPCA and many other organizations. In November of 2018, Max L. Rosenberg was elected Judge of Probate Court for Stratford, Connecticut and has subsequently been published in the Connecticut Probate Journal multiple times. He was re-elected in 2022 and continues in this position, while also running his law firm, Rosenberg & Hite, LLC to the present. erg lives with his wife, two sons and four dogs in Stratford, Connecticut.
