Huan Chen

Ms. Chen's practice encompasses foreign direct investment, cross border merger & acquisition, private equity investment, outbound investment, overseas listing as well as general corporate and commercial matters.

Ms. Chen has rich experience in foreign direct investment and cross border mergers & acquisitions. She has represented numerous multi-national companies in greenfield investments and acquisitions in Mainland China, including setup of joint ventures, wholly foreign-owned enterprises and VIE structures, share acquisition, asset acquisition and corporate restructuring.

Ms. Chen regularly advises venture capital and private equity funds on the formation of new funds and investment into portfolio companies in the industries of manufacturing, food, telecommunication, internet, media, entertainment, energy, education, healthcare, insurance and travel.

Ms. Chen also advised issuers and sponsors on the initial public offering and listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in the sectors of telecommunication, mining construction, e-commerce, etc.

In addition, Ms. Chen regularly advises multi-national companies on various legal issues arising from the daily operation, including contract, labor and compliance related issues.

Working Experience

Ms. Chen worked with the Hong Kong office of Jones Day from 2006 to 2009. She joined Run Ming Law Office after relocating to Beijing and then joined Broad & Bright in August 2010.
