Ian S. Lamont

Mr. Lamont joined Coughlin & Gerhart, LLP, in 2023 and is based at the Walton office. His practice is concentrated in Estate Planning & Wills, Probate and Trust & Estate Administration, and Real Estate Law. Mr. Lamont also serves on the Attorneys for Children Panel in Delaware and Otsego Counties. He began his legal career as court attorney to County Court Judge and Acting Supreme Court Judge for Delaware County, the Hon. Richard D. Northrup, Jr.

Prior to attending law school, Mr. Lamont developed and marketed a line of specialty dessert sauces, known as Slickepott Fudge and Caramel Sauces.

Mr. Lamont is a lifelong resident of Delhi, NY, where he resides with his growing family and serves on the Village Board of Trustees. He is a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, where he serves as a board member.
