Biography

Prior to joining MLN, Ifza was a litigation associate in the general liability and architects and engineers practice groups at a large insurance defense firm. She handled all phases of commercial and personal injury litigation, including state trial practice and arbitrations.

Ifza is admitted to practice in New York State and the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. She received her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Brooklyn Law School, where she was an International Business Law fellow and Public Service Award recipient. While in law school, she was a teaching assistant for a legal writing class and interned at the Enforcement Division of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the Civil Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York, and with the in-house counsel of an international bank. Ifza completed her undergraduate degree at Columbia University, where she founded and co-chaired Camp Kesem Columbia, the regional chapter of a 501(c)(3) nonprofit free summer camp for children whose parents have had cancer.
