Biography

Ira Treuhaft is a partner at Treuhaft & Zakarin, LLP. After managing political campaigns in New York, New Jersey, and Ohio, Ira formed The Treu Group, which is a political consulting firm. Ira earned his Juris Doctor in 2002 from the University of Maryland School of Law and received a B.A. in history from University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC). While in law school, Ira interned for the Honorable Marvin J. Garbus, and long time Majority Leader Eric I. Cantor. Mr. Treuhaft is an adjunct professor at Fairleigh Dickinson University. His primary areas of practice are matrimonial law and bankruptcy.
