Biography

J.K. Hage III is the son of founding attorney, James J. Hage. As a practicing attorney with over 33 years of experience, Mr. Hage is the managing member of Hage & Hage and he is Of Counsel to Lukas, Nace, Gutierrez & Sachs, LLP, a Washington, D.C. communications law and engineering firm. As a business innovator, Mr. Hage has achieved great entrepreneurial success in various profit and nonprofit business ventures. He conceived the national Sprint PCS affiliate program and founded Independent Wireless One Corporation (a.k.a. U.S. Unwired), a national Sprint PCS affiliate. Mr. Hage was the organizer, first Executive Director, and General Counsel of the Griffiss Institute, an independent 501(c)(3) market driven national collaboration of industry, academia and government dedicated to applied research, training, and services in information security.

Mr. Hage also is an entrepreneurial activist investor and has extensive personal experience on public, private, profit and nonprofit boards and management teams. He serves as a director of the national Economic Crime Institute. He is a member of the Albany Law School Board of Trustees, the Albany Law School Center of Innovation, the Cornell University R2G Project Core Committee, the Herkimer County Community College Criminal Justice Advisory Committee, and the Multicultural Committee of the Hamilton College Alumni Council. He also is a member of the City of Utica Power System Commission, the Downtown Utica Development Association, and the City of Utica Arterial Project.
