J.P. Gatto, P.A.

J.P. Gatto brings over a decade of litigation experience to Swor & Gatto, where he now focuses exclusively on representing individuals who have suffered serious injuries. Earlier in his career, J.P. practiced at a leading St. Paul law firm, where he represented businesses and insurers in complex personal injury and commercial disputes spanning industries such as construction, aviation, and insurance. This diverse background provides him with a unique perspective from both sides of the courtroom. J.P. has participated in numerous jury trials nationwide, often handling cases involving catastrophic injuries and working with leading experts from a variety of fields. His comprehensive experience enables him to effectively negotiate settlements and, when necessary, successfully advocate at trial. J.P.’s peers have recognized his exceptional skills, naming him a Super Lawyer since 2014. A graduate of St. Olaf College and Hamline University School of Law with honors, J.P. has enriched his practice with international study and community involvement. He and his wife are active in supporting organizations such as St. Paul Children’s Hospital and the Minnesota Children’s Museum, and he enjoys skiing, golfing, and following Minnesota sports.
