Resolution Strategies LLP specializes in serving as settlement counsel, primarily in complex litigation and commercial disputes.

Representative Matters and Clients:

· Successfully resolved numerous patent infringement matters, on behalf of plaintiffs and defendants, through license and settlement agreements representing hundreds of millions of dollars in negotiated resolutions.

· Successfully represented Fortune 100 financial institution in resolving long-standing, complex commercial litigation.

· Successfully represented national market leader in breach-of-merger litigation involving a leading Fortune 100 company, forging a resolution that concluded in a successful $1.5 billion merger.

· Successfully represented public entities in the resolution of class-actions, wrongful death, and institutional sex abuse claims.

· Served as settlement counsel in a wide range of commercial disputes, fostering expedited resolution in over 90% of all cases.

· Served as special counsel to many clients, including a number of Fortune 500 companies, in sensitive, complex matters, assisting the client and its trial counsel in developing and executing strategic exit plans.

Associate Editor, Oregon Law Review, 1977-1978; Author: Chapter on Reformation, Oregon Civil Practice and Pleading, 1986.

1979-1995: private practice in Portland, Oregon, starting with the firm of Kennedy & King in 1979, later known as Kennedy, King, Zimmer & O'Malley; 1985-1995: established own firm later known as Delo & O'Malley; 1995: recruited in-house by a client, Hollywood Entertainment Corporation.

1995-2003 Hollywood Entertainment Corporation: joined the emerging regional brand and became part of the executive team that grew the retail video chain into the No. 2 national video chain with over 2,000 retail stores. Served in a number of capacities, including establishing Legal, Human Resources, Facilities, and Leasing Departments, and the store development infrastructure that opened on average one new store per day in the United States from 1998 to 2001. Also served as Senior Vice President, CIO Information Systems, and established Studio Revenue Sharing, Business Systems, Internal Audit, and Corporate Governance infrastructures.

2004-2007 Resolution Counsel, LLP: Of Counsel to Resolution Counsel specializing in serving as settlement counsel on behalf of clients.

2008-2010: managing partner of Resolution Strategies LLP.
