Shae Atkinson represents clients in the area of criminal defense, including post-convictions and appeals. Mr. Atkinson began his private practice in 2017. He has obtained successful resolutions for his clients on many levels.

Mr. Atkinson recently had the first jury trial verdict in Shelby County post COVID-19. His client was charged with murder, and Mr. Atkinson obtained a significant defense verdict. Mr. Atkinson has successfully represented clients on direct appeal, including a reversal at the Court of Criminal Appeals.

He has succeeded in having post-conviction petitions granted, both at the trial courts and at the Court of Criminal Appeals.

Mr. Atkinson represents individuals on matters from traffic tickets to first degree murder and routinely practices in counties surrounding Shelby County, including Fayette, Tipton, Lauderdale, Hardeman, and Dyer.
