Biography

As a shareholder in the Casualty Department, Jack draws upon more than 10 years of civil litigation experience in providing legal counsel to construction companies/contractors, commercial property owners/commercial property managers, trucking companies, amusement parks and recreational facilities and insurance companies in Pennsylvania. He handles a wide array of serious loss cases where there is often catastrophic injury or death in the areas of premises liability, product liability, construction accident, construction defect, commercial trucking, insurance coverage, and sports, amusement and entertainment litigation.

Before transitioning to casualty litigation, he was a member of Marshall Dennehey’s Health Care Department where he represented health systems, hospitals, behavioral health facilities, skilled nursing facilities, physicians, nurses and other health care providers. Prior to joining the firm, he was an associate with a Philadelphia-based civil defense firm where he represented clients in medical malpractice and general liability matters. Jack additionally worked for several years in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas where he was a judicial fellow to the Honorable Lisa M. Rau; a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Paula A. Patrick; and a mass tort law clerk at the Complex Litigation Center under the Honorable Arnold L. New.

A second-generation attorney with roots in Pennsylvania and New York, Jack received his undergraduate degree in philosophy from Fordham University in 2005. Following his graduation from college, Jack worked on a variety of transactional matters (primarily commercial and residential real estate) as a legal assistant in his father's law firm in Merrick, New York. He then went on to receive his J.D., cum laude, from Villanova University School of Law in 2011. During law school, Jack was an associate editor for the Villanova Environmental Law Journal; served as a tutor for first year students in property; and was a research assistant to Professor Joy Sabino Mullane.
