Biography

Jackson R. Reed has practiced as a personal injury trial lawyer in Texas for 15 years. He has practiced in the area of personal injury law his entire legal career. Jack has successfully handled hundreds of cases involving victims of serious injuries such as head and brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, paralysis, loss of limb, burns, and wrongful death.

Mr. Reed is a Texas native. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin in 1985. Upon graduation, he remained in Austin to work as an Executive Assistant for the Texas General Land Office and Director of Marketing for The Texas Veterans Land Board. He left Austin to fulfill his dream of being a lawyer for the people. He graduated from South Texas College of Law in 1993 with a Doctorate of Jurisprudence.

Mr. Reed combines his background, training and experience with a passion for representing people in their fight for justice against corporations and insurance companies. He has built his reputation on his hard work and compassion. As a trial lawyer, Mr. Reed has taken on many insurance companies and large corporations over the years, and has obtained trial verdicts and settlements with the results his clients deserve.

Mr. Reed is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas and before the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas. He is a member of the American Trail Lawyers Association (ATLA), the Texas Trial Lawyers Association (TTLA), the Houston Trial Lawyers Association (HTLA), the Texas Bar Association, and the State Bar of Texas. He was also admitted as a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation, a group of attorneys selected from less than 1% of the membership of the State Bar of Texas based on an outstanding record in the legal profession, a commitment to support the community at large, and a person of high professional standing among his peers.
