Biography

Jacob Kratt is a Partner in the Philadelphia office with 10 years of insurance litigation experience representing insureds across the region. He is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and West Virginia.

Jacob represents individuals and businesses of all sizes in a variety of complex matters, including premises liability, products liability, construction, automotive, and transportation cases. In addition, he handles professional liability matters, defending medical, legal, and financial professionals.

Jacob’s expertise includes managing litigation across multiple jurisdictions and managing national asbestos accounts, in addition to handling complex discovery involving voluminous document review and production. He has extensive experience in mediations and arbitrations and negotiating settlements.

Prior to practicing law, Jacob served as a law clerk for a two-year period to the Honorable Ronald W. Folino in Allegheny County, where he managed the Motions Court calendar of 1,500 motions annually and organized the court calendar of over 625 cases per year. Following his clerkship, he practiced insurance defense law in Pittsburgh before relocating back to the Philadelphia area.
