Biography

Jacob M. Langsner concentrates his practice in the areas of entertainment, media, and intellectual property. He focuses on a wide range of matters pertaining to the development and protection of trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets, in addition to an array of issues at the intersection of media, technology, and storytelling. Jacob has assisted clients in administrating sweepstakes and promotional initiatives while maintaining regulatory compliance, and has supported entities in the development and management of gaming facilities. He additionally has drafted management and engagement agreements for a variety of artists and performers, and has helped to facilitate the acquisition of a major entertainment and gaming property.

Jacob's passion for entertainment and intellectual property law stems from his background as a filmmaker. He has written, directed, and produced over 30 short films, which have collectively screened at over 25 national and international film festivals.
