Biography

Jacqueline Brousseau focuses her practice on trademark, trade dress, copyright, and unfair competition matters. She helps brand owners and creators safeguard their intellectual property starting from the inception of the brand or product, advising them on clearance issues and filing for trademark and copyright registrations. She also counsels clients on brand management, brand expansion, and brand protection strategy, including the enforcement of intellectual property rights, the initiation of litigation, investigating counterfeits, and addressing threats to intellectual property on the Internet.

Jacqueline has robust litigation experience, having prosecuted and defended federal claims for trademark infringement, copyright infringement and unfair competition before several U.S. District Courts. She also has deep experience in pursuing anti-counterfeiting litigation, and has conducted several counterfeiting seizures and investigations. She is further experienced handling all aspects of trademark opposition and cancellation proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. For the past five years (2021-2025), Jacqueline has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America on the “Ones to Watch” list for Intellectual Property Litigation and Intellectual Property Law.
