Jacqueline Therese Caron Colclough: Attorney with Regan Zambri Long PLLC

Biography

Washington DC and Maryland Medical Malpractice Lawyer

Jacqueline Colclough is a partner at Regan Zambri Long PLLC. Prior to her practice with our firm, she worked as a registered nurse, making her uniquely qualified to represent and litigate medical malpractice claims.

Jackie is a magna cum laude graduate of St. Anselm College, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing in 1988. She then worked to obtain her license as a registered nurse in Virginia in that same year and received her law degree from the Columbus School of Law, Catholic University of America, in 1991.

After graduation, Jackie worked as an associate with Thompson Coburn LLP, Washington, D.C., and Lamb & Barnosky, LLP, Melville, New York. While with these firms, she represented corporate clients in transactional and regulatory matters for more than ten years. It was during this time that she developed and refined her negotiating and litigation skills as the lead attorney in multimillion dollar transactions.

With a goal to ultimately combine her medical and legal expertise, Jackie returned to nursing to strengthen her clinical skills. She worked as a staff nurse at a Northern Virginia hospital for several years. In 2005, Jackie then chose to join Regan Zambri Long PLLC as a medical injury lawyer in order to combine her many years of nursing and legal education and experience.

Jackie’s practice is rooted in her belief that patient safety considerations should never be compromised in the health care setting. She fights to ensure that victims of medical negligence receive fair and just recompense for their injuries, particularly when those injuries are life-altering. Her work has resulted in multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements for injury victims.

Jackie was born in Manchester, New Hampshire and now lives in Northern Virginia with her family.
