Biography

Jacqueline Dixon, shareholder in the Nashville office, is a trial lawyer with over 35 years of experience in all aspects of family law, including divorce, custody and adoption; wills, estates, conservatorships, and probate litigation; personal injury; and, general civil litigation as well as appellate work. She is also a Tennessee Supreme Court listed family law mediator. She currently serves as board chair of the Tennessee Bar Foundation, vice-chair of the Tennessee Lawyer Assistance Program Commission, and chair of the TLAP Foundation. She is past president of the Tennessee Bar Association and the Tennessee Lawyers Association for Women. Jackie currently gives back to the community by serving on the boards of two non-profit organizations: A Step Ahead Foundation of Middle Tennessee, a provider of free long-acting reversible birth control, where she is a founding board member and past board president; and, First Steps, Inc., a provider of education and care for special needs children alongside their typically developing peers.
