Biography

Jakub Baczuk focuses his practice on intellectual property law, data protection law and new technology law. He has experience in advising clients in the IT, banking, insurance and e-commerce sectors. Jakub has advised on the implementation of IT systems, software licensing, cloud services, outsourcing and regulatory issues. He has participated in a number of GDPR implementation projects and has advised on issues related to the processing of personal data in regulated sectors, including related to professional secrecy. Jakub has represented clients before the Polish Patent Office in trademark proceedings, as well as in customs proceedings related to the protection of trademark rights. He also handles matters relating to corporate law.
