Biography

Jamal earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Sociology from Adelphi University in 2014. He went on to graduate from Pace Law School with his Juris Doctorate in 2019.

During his time in law school, Jamal was an active member of the Trial Advocacy Program and served on the Executive Board as the Mock Trial Skills Director. He participated in many mock trial competitions, including the Northeast Black Law Students Mock Trial Competition which his team won first place. He continues to mentor the students at Pace Law by coaching many mock trial teams for their competition.

After graduating, Jamal worked at The Legal Aid Society as a Staff Attorney in the Criminal Defense Practice for four years, defending the underrepresented community in criminal matters, including misdemeanor and felony charges. There, he participated in many hearings and criminal trials, which resulted in favorable decisions.

At PMT, Jamal represents clients in various general liability matters. He is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey.
