Legal Experience

Mr. Ballard has a broad experience in the real estate industry. He has closed over $1 billion in commercial real estate transactions, working with investors, owners, developers, landlords, tenants, brokers and property managers. Mr. Ballard has worked on approximately 5 million square feet of commercial office and industrial new development and worked with developers of single-family subdivisions in the entitlements, land-use, restrictive covenants, HOA/POA creation, condominiums, utilities and infrastructure related development, habitat and conservation, home construction, and closing documents and title work.

Mr. Ballard also works with owners/developers in the financing of the project, including debt and equity agreements.

Mr. Ballard represents clients in various litigation areas including general liability defense, including but not limited to, premise liability, vehicular accidents, product liability, and negligent activity. He also represents select clients in personal injury litigation.

Mr. Ballard began his legal career with Fulbright & Jaworski, L.L.P., later working at Vial, Hamilton, Koch & Knox, L.L.P., Trammell Crow Company, and The Staubach Company.
