Biography

James “Drew” Morock is an avid student of the law, an experienced litigator, and a strategic legal partner who puts his clients’ needs first and foremost. He prides himself on his adeptness in assimilating and implementing complex materials quickly, strategically analyzing the issues of each case to find the winning argument, and producing results for his clients. Drew stays engaged with his clients throughout the entire litigation process while creatively innovating within his clients’ industries and the legal profession.

Drew focuses his practice on resolving complex matters in insurance, construction, and transportation, including contractual matters, compliance, and litigation. He has extensive experience negotiating, drafting, reviewing, and litigating commercial contracts and purchase agreements, particularly in real estate, construction, and business disputes. Drew navigates the complexities of law and draws on his experience having litigated major class actions, companies’ trade secret rights and remedies, securities fraud, and disability rights.

Additionally, Drew holds a license and has practiced commercial real estate sales and leasing for over 20 years, with a focus on apartment complexes, hotels, strip malls, warehouses, and other investment properties. He understands his clients’ business and legal goals, and he anticipates business concerns that matter the most with a practical and client-centered perspective.

Born and raised in New Orleans, Drew attended Jesuit High School. He serves as lead organizer for St. Baldrick’s Day at Finn McCool’s which has raised over a million dollars towards pediatric cancer research at local hospitals. Outside of his practice, he enjoys travel, learning and practicing foreign languages, and going to the gym and the yoga studio.
