Jim represents individuals, corporations, limited liability companies, and partnerships in a wide and comprehensive range of planning, transactional and administrative matters.


He regularly counsels and advises for-profit corporations, non-profit corporations, limited liability companies and partnerships in such critical areas as formation (including choice of preferred tax structure), mergers and acquisitions, dissolution, asset sales, asset acquisitions, stock sales, stock acquisitions and corporate governance.


Jim frequently acts as counsel to purchasers and sellers involved in residential real estate closings. He actively represents residential and commercial developers regarding the acquisition, planning, and development of residential and commercial projects.


Jim also advises individuals on estate planning, estate administration, tax and asset protection matters. He works with individuals, families and business owners to design and execute estate plans and asset protection strategies in furtherance of the orderly disposition of an estate.
