Biography

James G. Nowakowski is a shareholder of Zilske Law Firm S.C. Mr. Nowakowski received his B.A. degree from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee in 1979. Mr. Nowakowski graduated from the Marquette University Law School in 1983. He has practiced in the area of Workers Compensation defense for over thirty years.

Mr. Nowakowski has carried a Martindale Hubbell rating of AV since 1995 and is frequently listed in Best Lawyers in America and Super Lawyers. In 2015, Mr. Nowakowski was named Workers Compensation Lawyer of the Year by Best Lawyers.

Mr. Nowakowski is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin and the Wisconsin Association of Workers Compensation Attorneys. Mr. Nowakowski has presented on numerous occasions to various professional organizations and frequently lectures on workers compensation matters.
