James Ware is an accomplished litigation and appellate attorney with a robust career that began at a boutique business law firm in Bellevue, Washington. Over his 17-year tenure there, he rose to lead the firm’s litigation department. James has successfully represented clients in numerous jury and bench trials across Washington’s state and federal courts. His experience extends to the appellate arena, where he has argued before all divisions of the Washington Court of Appeals and the Ninth Circuit, establishing pivotal case law in malpractice, negligence claims against tax professionals, and cannabis industry regulations.

James's clientele is diverse, spanning from homeowners with Form 17 claims to estates affected by gross neglect and negligence, as well as multi-national corporations. His litigation strategy is straightforward: equip clients with a comprehensive understanding of the risks and benefits, bolstered by thorough analysis. Originally from the South and having spent his formative years in Colorado, James relocated to the Seattle area in 2005. Outside of the courtroom, he enjoys the Pacific Northwest’s natural beauty through hiking, biking, cross-country skiing, and gardening.
