Biography

Mr.Harpold is a litigator. He has handled a wide variety of matters since his admission in 2007, spanning from general liability defense, condemnation, construction and real estate disputes, domestic relations and juvenile cases, business litigation, including contract disputes and employment related claims, to criminal and traffic defense. Along the way, Mr. Harpold has advised business clients with regulatory compliance, formation, and contract needs. Mr. Harpold has appeared in numerous Circuit and General District Courts across the Commonwealth’s various judicial districts, though most of his casework has been in and around Northern Virginia’s Courts. On a personal note, James earned his undergraduate degree from Virginia Tech, and juris doctorate from The University of Oregon, which he likes to believe makes him the only “Turducken“ on the East Coast.
