James T. Morris, a distinguished trial attorney, is widely
recognized for his exceptional litigation skills, often being sought after as
counsel for significant personal injury cases. With a career spanning several
decades, Mr. Morris has held various key positions and played pivotal roles in
Massachusetts governance.
As a founding partner of Quinn & Morris PC since 1979,
Mr. Morris has demonstrated his commitment to legal excellence. Prior to his
private practice, he served as the New England Area Director of Public Affairs
at Gulf Oil Corporation from 1976 to 1978.
His public service includes serving as Counsel to the
Speaker in the Massachusetts House of Representatives from 1975 to 1976 and as
the Executive Assistant Attorney General of Massachusetts from 1972 to 1975.
Mr. Morris has been an integral part of the Massachusetts Inspector General
Advisory Council since 1984, currently holding the position of Chairman.
In addition to his legal prowess, Mr. Morris has made
significant contributions to higher education governance. He served as the Vice
Chair of the University of Massachusetts Building Authority from 1982 to 1996
and later chaired the Massachusetts State College Building Authority from 1996
