James Thomaidis

James Thomaidis brings nearly two decades of practical legal and business experience to Gersh & Thomaidis, LLC. Mr. Thomaidis has extensive experience in litigating complex commercial cases and large cases involving securities fraud. Having represented clients related to complex contracts of all kinds, he brings the unique perspective of having drafted these contracts extensively in a transactional capacity, with the intent of avoiding future litigation. Mr. Thomaidis has provided legal counsel in employment, construction defect, products liability, premises liability, professional liability, probate, insurance coverage and automobile cases. He has also assisted clients in the resolution of regulatory and import/export compliance, environmental remediation and natural resources disputes.

Admitted to practice in the State of Colorado in 2007, Mr. Thomaidis is also licensed to practice in the United States District Court for the District of Colorado and the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. He earned his J.D. from the University of Denver in 2006, earned an M.B.A. from the University of Denver in 2003, and graduated from the University of Colorado in 1996 with a B.S. in Environmental Biology and a B.A. in History.

Mr. Thomaidis is a lieutenant in the United States Navy Reserve, currently serving on a Joint Task Force in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He is also active in a volunteer capacity, serving on the boards of several non-profits in the Denver metropolitan area.
