Jamie Marie Flores

Jamie Flores is a proud Texan, born and raised in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. She is a graduate of Texas Wesleyan University where she received her bachelor’s degree, then went on to pursue her master’s from Texas A&M University-Kingsville. Jamie continues her education by obtaining her law degree from the University of North Texas College of Law. In addition to being a member of the State Bar of Texas, Jamie is admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court and is a member of the prestigious Texas Bar College.

She has in-depth experience in helping individuals and businesses with diverse IRS tax issues. Her deep understanding of tax laws and regulations, combined with her commitment to staying updated on the latest changes, allows her to provide clients with innovative and strategic tax solutions. Jamie has been widely recognized for her professional achievements in the legal field. In 2023-2024, she was awarded the ‘Outstanding Committee Award’ for her work in the State Bar of Texas – Tax Section’s ‘Tax Law in a Day’ initiative. Additionally, she was selected to the prestigious ‘2024 Texas Rising Stars’ list, a recognition given by Super Lawyers to only 2.5 percent of exceptional young attorneys in the state. Texas Monthly also featured her in their April 2024 issue for her contributions as a Managing Partner at the Law Offices of Nemeth & Flores and her selection to the 2024 Texas Rising Stars list. Her dedication to her clients is matched only by her commitment to her family. Family is the thing that makes Jamie proud. Being the wife of a Dallas Police Officer and the mother to four amazing children gives her happiness. As a loving mother, she provides unwavering support, guidance, and love to her children, ensuring they thrive academically, emotionally, and socially.

She handles life with grace, and a regimented calendar. Balancing life includes running the firm, homeschooling the kids, competing in golf tournaments, soccer matches, charity events, and selfless service through mentoring and leadership roles on various committees. Additionally, their household has acquired a village of eight rescued guinea pigs, which are now part of the family. Even through obstacles and this tightrope balancing act, she always puts others first. Jamie is usually on the phone, iPad, or computer handling something for someone. She has consistently demonstrated that being a mother has not limited her ambition but has fueled her drive to excel in her profession.

Her clients are like family to her. She puts their needs before her own, and answers calls and questions on nights and weekends. She is always direct, respectful, and upfront about obstacles in their situation, and gives guidance on what is in their best interest. Sometimes brutal honesty is harsh, but necessary and appreciated.
