Jane Louise Malico

Jane Malico is a seasoned family law attorney who guides clients through divorce and other complex family matters with both strength and perspective. She understands that dissolution can leave individuals feeling uncertain about their future, and she works closely with her clients to help them move forward with clarity, confidence, and a renewed sense of possibility.

Jane represents clients in a wide range of family law matters, including high-conflict custody disputes and complex property division. She is known for her strong courtroom presence and is a highly capable trial attorney when litigation is necessary. At the same time, she is committed to resolving matters efficiently and strategically outside of court whenever possible, helping clients achieve favorable outcomes while minimizing unnecessary conflict.

Before entering private practice, Jane served as a staff attorney with the Eastside Legal Assistance Program, where she advocated for survivors of domestic violence. This experience, combined with her work in high-conflict cases, has given her a deep understanding of the challenges clients face during times of crisis. Her approach is both practical and compassionate, grounded in helping clients achieve stability and long-term success.

Jane’s professional background prior to law includes owning and operating a business, serving as a sales director for a high-technology company, and working as an intelligence officer in the Washington Air National Guard. This diverse experience allows her to connect with clients from a wide range of backgrounds and brings valuable perspective to complex financial and personal matters.

Originally from Spokane, Jane now resides in Kirkland. Outside of her practice, she enjoys walking, cooking, reading, and spending time with her family and her two pugs.
