Janelle Mary Acevedo is an Associate in the firm's Miami office and practices in the area of Construction Defect Defense.

Ms. Acevedo was born and raised in Miami, Florida. She attended Florida State University for undergraduate studies and received a Bachelor's in Accounting. During undergrad, she was an accounting intern for a non-profit organization in Tallahassee and during the summers, she would go back to Miami to intern in the accounting department of a Fortune 500 construction and infrastructure company.

After graduating from Florida State University for undergraduate studies, Janelle stayed in Tallahassee and attended Florida State University College of Law. During law school, she was on the board for the school’s Mock Trial Team and Business Law Society. During law school, she also worked as a law clerk for a boutique defense firm that primarily practiced in Construction.
