Janet Lynne Frickey

Janet Frickey is the owner and managing attorney at the Frickey Law Firm based in Lakewood, Colorado. She is a graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder and Washburn University School of Law. Ms. Frickey was inspired by the work of her father, Norton Frickey, who opened the Frickey Law Firm in 1958 with a clear mission: To provide exceptional legal counsel to all men and women in Colorado, regardless of wealth or status. As he would often say, “the key to the courthouse is the key to equality.” Sixty years later, the firm continues to represent injured parties in personal injury and workers’ compensation matters. Ms. Frickey is considered an expert in the field of workers’ compensation having served as claimant’s representative to the Colorado Division of Workers’ Compensation drafting medical treatment guidelines. She is AV rated by Martindale Hubbell, a Best Lawyer and Super Lawyer (including Top 50 Women Lawyers), and a Top Lawyer in 5280 Magazine’s list since 2015. She is a present board member and past President of the Claimant’s Bar (Workers’ Compensation Education Association) and the Colorado Bar Association Workers’ Compensation Section.
