Janice Roy Hansen was born in Bristol Connecticut. She received her B.S. degree in Psychology, Cum Laude, from Florida State University in 1991 and her J.D. degree, Cum Laude, from F.S.U. College of Law in 1996. While in law school, Ms. Hansen was a chair person for the Public Interest Law Society and a Guardian Ad Litem. Ms. Hansen is a member of the Virginia State Bar, Florida State Bar, American Bar Association, American Bankruptcy Institute, and the Lynchburg Junior League.
