I am Jared Sonnenklar, and I'd like to offer you some insight into my background and professional journey.

In June 2015, I made the life-changing decision to relocate to Key West, embarking on my legal career as a Public Defender. It was in this vibrant island community that I not only discovered my love for the locale but also cultivated a profound passion for criminal defense.

Over the course of four years as a public defender, I had the privilege of handling a diverse array of criminal cases, gaining invaluable experience. This experience included conducting numerous trials at various levels of the legal system. My aim has always been to leverage these experiences for the benefit of my clients.

Before I arrived in Key West, my academic pursuits led me to the George Washington University, where I focused on International Affairs. Subsequently, I continued my studies at the University of Miami School of Law, where I participated in the esteemed immigration clinic, further enriching my legal knowledge.

Upon completing my legal education, I made the significant choice to join the Key West community as a Public Defender, and I've been a dedicated member ever since. When the time came for the next step in my career, I founded Sonnenklar Law, right here in Key West, to continue serving the same community where my journey began.

Now, with a rich background in handling more than 500 felony cases and participating in over a dozen trials across various legal levels, I'm poised to provide you with zealous advocacy and comprehensive criminal representation. I am committed to ensuring that you not only receive effective legal counsel but also that you fully comprehend the legal process at every step.
