During his years of working as a prosecutor he conducted hundreds of contested evidentiary hearings and handled thousands of cases ranging in severity from driving violations to murder charges.  Because of his years as a prosecutor in court, Jarom is able to effectively and aggressively defend clients charged with criminal offenses whether it be related to drugs, domestic violence allegations, or alcohol.  He can customize a defense for your case.  He has extensive experience in handling DUI charges.  Jarom has lectured at multiple law enforcement trainings and was a guest instructor at the Alaska State Trooper Public Safety Academy in Sitka, Alaska.     After moving to his home state of Utah, Jarom developed a robust criminal defense practice.  Jarom defends citizens accused of criminal offenses in Summit, Wasatch, Utah and Salt Lake County.  His goal is to customize each defense in order to achieve each individual clients' goals in a case.  When it comes to contested hearings and trials, Jarom is ready and comfortable in court.  He has over 65 jury trials completed and hundreds more bench trials, contested evidentiary hearings, restitution hearings and dispositions.   His trial experience is also valuable to clients involved in civil litigation matters. Jarom represents individuals and entities involved in a variety of litigation matters involving real estate, contracts, construction defects, debt disputes and personal injury.  He is also trained in Alternative Dispute Resolution.      Jarom is an avid skier, hunter, pilot and proud father of four active boys and a german shepherd.
