Biography

Jarrod Braxton Bazemore graduated summa cum laude from undergraduate studies at the University of Alabama where he majored in Finance with a minor in Spanish and was the 1995 recipient of the Alabama Bankers’ Association Student Achievement Award. He then attended the University of Alabama School of Law on full scholarship and graduated in 1998 after having been a member of the Law & Psychology Review, Bench and Bar Legal Honor Society, as well as an Associate Justice on the Honor Court. During his 20 years in litigation, Jarrod's trial practice has been concentrated in the areas of transportation, automobile, and commercial general liability litigation, which has included a variety of coverage-related issues and defense of first party claims against insurance companies. Jarrod has successfully defended cases throughout the circuit courts of Alabama and is admitted to practice in all federal district courts within the state. He is a frequent lecturer at various seminars and is a faculty member for the annual Alabama Tort Law Update held by Alabama CLE. Jarrod received his AV Peer Review Rating™ by Martindale-Hubbell® in 2010 and was named 2012 and 2013 Alabama Rising Stars by Super Lawyers.
