Biography

Jay Miller has spent nearly 40 years as a determined courtroom advocate for people who need someone to fight for them. Before joining Peter Angelos Law in 2010, he served for years as the managing partner of his own firm, building a reputation for trial skill and preparation. Jay tried the largest consolidated jury trial ever brought against a single cardiologist and helped secure more than $35 million in compensation for the victims. Over the course of his career, his work has resulted in hundreds of millions of dollars awarded to clients. While he is widely known for medical malpractice success, Jay also takes on serious injury cases involving trucking companies and construction firms. He has been a lead lawyer in litigation for hundreds of U.S. service members who suffered permanent hearing damage from defective 3M combat earplugs, and he continues that work by leading the Camp Lejeune litigation at Peter Angelos Law. Beyond the courtroom, Jay has served in key leadership roles, including chairing the Lawyer Assistance Committee for ten years and serving as President of the Baltimore County Bar Association. He was also named to The Daily Record’s 2025 Power List for Medical Malpractice & Personal Injury attorneys.
