Biography

Attorney Jay Murray is a longtime Dallas trial lawyer with a career spanning more than three decades focused on representing injured people. He joined the Texas Bar in 1995 after graduating with a J.D. from Texas A&M School of Law (formerly Texas Wesleyan University) and earlier earned his undergraduate degree from Southern Methodist University. Jay is active in the plaintiffs’ bar, serving on the board of the Dallas Trial Lawyers Association and maintaining membership in the Texas Trial Lawyers Association and the American Association for Justice. His credentials include recognition as a Texas Super Lawyer, inclusion among the National Top 100 Plaintiffs Lawyers, and membership in both the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and the Multimillion Dollar Advocates Forum. Jay has also written on specialized topics relevant to litigation, with publications addressing sex-crimes, accident reconstruction in the private sector, and premises liability, including work recognized in 1997 for technical subject matter excellence.
