Biography

Jayson graduated from Michigan State University College of Law in 2000. He has practiced in the area of workers' compensation for the majority of his career, and he focuses his practice on helping injured workers through the workers' compensation system.

Jayson is a member of both the Michigan and Florida State Bar Associations.

Jayson was honored to be elected Chairperson of the State Bar of Michigan Workers' Compensation Law Section for the 2021-2022 term. As the leader of the Section, Jayson has been hard at work engaging with the Workers' Compensation Agency Director, Board of Magistrates and attorneys representing both injured workers and employers toward fostering a more open and efficient workers' compensation system in Michigan.

Jayson joined Jay Trucks & Associates in January 2013.

He is an avid hockey fan and enjoys spending time with his family.
