Jazmine A. Smith

Jazmine A. Smith: Attorney with The Crowder Law Firm, P.C.

Biography

Jazmine Smith brings a massive advantage to The Crowder Law Firm. She knows exactly how the prosecution thinks. Before becoming our Senior Trial Lawyer, Jazmine served as an Assistant District Attorney in Fort Bend and Travis Counties. She spent years in the Crimes Against Children Division, prosecuting hundreds of serious felonies involving sensitive and complex allegations. That "insider" knowledge is a game-changer for her clients today, as she can anticipate the state’s moves before they even make them. Jazmine’s competitive edge started long before law school. She was a collegiate basketball player at the University of Missouri–Saint Louis. She took that same grit to Thurgood Marshall School of Law, where she excelled in mock trial and the Innocence Project. Now, she focuses on defending people against everything from drug trafficking to white-collar crimes in both state and federal court. Known for her attention to detail and relentless advocacy, Jazmine is a compassionate but aggressive defender who isn’t afraid of a tough fight. She’s dedicated to making sure every person she represents gets a fair shake and a powerful defense.
