Biography

Ms. Andrews received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Sciences with honors in 1979 and a Juris Doctorate with honors in 1982 from the Florida State University. Following admission to The Florida Bar in 1982, she practiced as an associate with Fuller, Johnson & Farrell, P.A., from 1982 until 1987 when she became a shareholder with Fuller, Johnson & Farrell. In March, 2000, she became a founding partner of Andrews, Crabtree, Knox & Longfellow, LLP.

Ms. Andrews has extensive experience in the areas of general insurance defense, medical malpractice, nursing home and product liability defense. This includes her representation of professionals before various regulatory agencies and boards in disciplinary proceedings.

Ms. Andrews is admitted to practice in all Florida State Courts, United States District Court, Northern District of Florida, and the United States Court of Appeals, Eleventh Circuit. Ms. Andrews's professional memberships and recognition include: The Florida Bar, Executive Council and Trial Lawyers Section (1995-1998); International Association of Defense Counsel; American Bar Association (ABA); Defense Research Institute (DRI); Florida Defense Lawyers Association (FDLA); Tallahassee Bar Association (TBA); and Florida Bar Annual Trial Advocacy/Seminar, past Faculty member.

Ms. Andrews has been a lecturer for various seminars presented by The Florida Bar and Florida Defense Lawyers Association. She also served as editor for the chapter entitled "Economic Damages in Personal Injury Cases" in the Florida Civil Practice Damage Handbook published by the Florida Bar. Ms. Andrews was elected to the Florida Legal Elite, Florida Trend Magazine, July 2004, in the practice area of Insurance.
