Jeffery D. Stinson

Jeffery D. Stinson is a Certified Elder Law Attorney (CELA) by the National Elder Law Foundation, a distinction held by only 15 lawyers in Indiana. With a passion for helping those with critical long-term care needs and those planning for their future, Jeff has dedicated his career to elder and special needs law. His experience, both personal and professional, has reinforced his compassion for families navigating complex legal challenges. Since founding Stinson Law Firm, Jeff has concentrated on elder law, estate planning, Medicaid planning, Veterans Affairs benefits, special needs planning, guardianships, and estate administration. He has been actively working in these areas since 1998, passing the bar in 2002 and starting his own practice in 2013. Jeff is committed to providing comprehensive legal guidance to ensure his clients’ security and peace of mind.

Jeff regularly shares his expertise through speaking engagements and publications, and he is an active member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) and the Indiana State Bar Association. His accomplishments include being named a Super Lawyer in 2018-2021 and receiving recognition for his work in elder law. Jeff lives in Indiana with his wife, Jennifer, and their two children, Josie and Jonah.
